Navratri has come and gone, Dussehra ended with a bang, and the next few festivals seem to be pouring in, one after another. Karva Chauth on the 30th, Halloween on the 31st, Diwali coming up on the 9th through the 13th. After that, I have to leave India for a visa run, during Thanksgiving, and the next major holiday after that, is Christmas.
Not to mention, I have plans to participate in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) this year, so for the entire month of November, I’m going to be trying to fit in writing a novel. As a writer, a thousand words per day is really nothing for me. I can’t really anticipate trying to fit that in during a holiday, or having writer’s block, though.
It’s going to get pretty busy around here, but I promise I will keep update as much as possible.
In case you missed it, check out my most recent reflection, India Has Changed Me.
